Dr Amy Vassallo, PhD

Dr Amy Vassallo is a PhD trained public health researcher and consultant, dedicated to using evidence and collaborative approaches to strengthen sustainable health systems and drive equitable health outcomes. She has technical expertise designing, collecting and assessing mixed methods evidence to understand health needs and evaluate programs and services. Amy also works in building the evidence base for gender equity initiatives in Australia and is a known thought leader on gender equity in health. Amy is an Honorary Research Fellow at The University of Sydney and The George Institute for Global Health, including a role on the healthcare delivery and translation working group of the Centre for Sex and Gender Equity in Health and Medicine.
