Dr Heather McCormack is a Scientia Research Fellow at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney. She has worked in research, program management, health promotion and communications roles in the sexual health and blood-borne virus sector for over 15 years and her industry career grounds her research in an understanding of practical applications in real-world scenarios. She has particular interests in health equity, strengths-based approaches, and optimising sexual health services and health promotion initiatives to improve accessibility and acceptability to diverse populations.
